How is that the Italians are doing it better? We wanted to know for sure so
we took a look towards the clubs of Southern Europe for an insight. Without
anyone treading too close, we found that the Italians are doing things just
as well, and sometimes even better than their Northern counterparts. With
the new Highgrade Digital release, we are proud to present some brand new
additions to the family from Milan, Ancona and, though not strictly speaking
Italian, from Bern, which is really just around the corner!

Luca Doobie and Milly De Mori have combined forces to bring us the next
two tracks. Both are an integral part of the growing Milan club scene. Luca is
a well known technical aficionado with the groove and the funk of the 70s in
his heart, and has been releasing pearls of techno wisdom since 2000. Milly
is one of the emerging female DJs in the city, with dynamic sets of minimal
and tech house carving her reputation from Paris to New York. She has been
producing her own music since 2003. The tracks on this release come with
tightly coiled rhythms and deep bouncing grooves. The sound is like the
warm intoxication of Campari. The sparkling ocean is no longer in sight, but
we can feel the burning torch and dancing flames of the night.
