Mio Martini was born 1991 in Basel (Switzerland). Through his brother, who’s already known in the music scene of Basel, Mio found the inspiration to electronic music. He passed a lot of time in his brother’s studio where he learned to mix the music. Mio’s music career begun in the year 2008, when he decided to found a label (“Dirty Surround”) for young DJs. The “Dirty Surround” parties from the age of 16 up are real popular among young Basel people. Mio’s talent and style of music catched the attention of many events promoter. It takes not long and Mio gets various bookings for Parties aged 18. At this time Mio builds his first professional Studio. In 2009 he became resident DJ of the popular party label “Sweet Hour”. Since then he plays regular with international DJs like Luca Bacchetti, Dennis Ferrer, The Martinez Brothers, Dubfire, Carl Cox, Nic Fanciulli etc. We didn’t have wait a long time for his first productions. His first track “Walkie talkie” with his friend Joe Vanni was released in September 2011 by the label “StarsRain Records”. Out now you can hear his second release “VITA BACK”.
