MOGUAI consistently delivers original pieces of electronic dance music, and this release sees him raising the bar once more. ‘Champs’ is a dynamic fusion of progressive and electro sensibilities, playing off its irresistibly infectious synth hook against a grinding bass underbelly and powerful, driving drum line. Combining a sequence of filtered, fluid melodies and big chords with large doses of main-room euphoria, ‘Champs’ is set to dominate both the airwaves and the dance floors alike.
Over a decade into his career and Moguai’s star continues to rise. Having dropped his ‘Mpire’ album last year, the mau5trap staple refuses to rest on his laurels for even a moment, delivering flawless productions every time. ‘Champs’ is certainly no different and the perfect return to Size.
MOGUAI festival anthem emotions with stage dive electro atmosphere at its best!

Having been featured in the Tomorrowland 2012 official aftermovie that’s received over 40 million views, ‘Mammoth’ is surely already one of the most eagerly anticipated releases of the new year.
The collaboration came about after both acts met up on the global festival circuit throughout 2012. Creative emails flew back and forth across Europe before the trio finally settled on the skeleton of ‘Mammoth’ as a potential new track. Speaking about it from his studio in Germany, MOGUAI said, “The track is not so far away from my own solo work. I said to myself, with the right mix this could be something huge, so I worked on what the guys already sent me for a few days and at the end, we had the finished mix that you know now.â€
A delicious slice of skewed electronica with ‘fist-pump’ written all over it, this titan of a track packs as much energy as it does technical class; crashing bass sections, warped synths and a huge breakdown combining the strengths of both production elements in one fell swoop. ‘Mammoth’ displays the extensive array of musical influences that these two world-renowned acts are constantly drawing their inspiration from, fusing everything together seamlessly for an anthem that will surely be an enormous smash in clubs and at festivals all over the world throughout 2013. To put it plainly, it’s going to be MAMMOTH!

What a year it’s been for MOGUAI, kicking off with the release of his second full-length album ‘MPIRE’ back in January on dance music juggernaut deadmau5’s label mau5trap. This long-player contains a veritable bounty of jaw-dropping material and has produced some simply unbelievable singles, including the massive Beatport #1 ‘MPIRE’, ‘LYME (MOGUAI’s Crushed Lyme Mix)’ and also Tommy Trash’s Club Mix for their collaboration on ‘IN N’ OUT’. In addition to churning out his own works, his remixing magic is continually being enlisted by the biggest and best; he’s delivered his unique twist to singles by American Idol winner and pop superstar Kelly Clarkson, Dim Mak Records kingpin Steve Aoki, and the musical legend that is Moby – to name just a few! MOGUAI also co-produced a new track for one of the biggest girl groups on the planet, Girls Aloud, which is included on their Greatest Hits album Ten called “Every Now And Thenâ€.
His non-stop touring schedule has taken him from the US to Japan and almost everywhere in between, seeing him thrill audiences with his unique style in the finest clubs and most lauded festival lineups on the planet. Highlights of 2012 include 7 shows in 5 days during Miami Music Week that came just after his debut on BBC Radio 1’s illustrious Essential Mix, playing poolside at Ushuaia in Ibiza for Avicii Sundays, a second successful tour of Asia and numerous festival appearances including Beyond Wonderland, Sunrise Festival and most recently at Sensation Germany.
WATCH HIGHLIGHTS OF MOGUAI AT SENSATION GERMANY 2012
You’d be forgiven for thinking that all this would be more than enough to keep one person busy, but – as we’ve come to expect with someone as dedicated to his craft as MOGUAI – he’s always pushing himself to do more. Throughout the year his ‘PUNX UP THE VOLUME’ radio show has grown from strength to strength and is now on the schedules of some of the best stations for dance music in the world, including 1Live in Germany, France’s Underground FG, Dance Tunes Radio in The Netherlands and USA station iHeartRadio’s ‘Evolution’ channel from the beginning of December.
There’s plenty more too to come from this mix maestro in the coming months as we move into 2013; his collaboration ‘MAMMOTH’ with Belgian brothers Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike (featured in the Tomorrowland 2012 official aftermovie) will get its eagerly awaited release at the beginning of next year, so be sure to keep an eye out for further news on this release. With a tour of North America through January, once again dance music lovers the world over are being spoilt by the main man MOGUAI.
Following the success of his 'LYVE FROM ASIA' Tour just over a year ago, Moguai is now absolutely delighted to announce that he will be embarking on a tour of Asia once again in September. He returns to the shores of the Far East on a mission to blow audiences away in some of the finest and most famous clubs on the continent!
Taking in the magic and splendor of Singapore, Malaysia, China and Japan in just over a week, Moguai will be sharing his exquisite musical gifts with his fans from across the globe who have been eagerly awaiting his return. In particular there will be a special reappearance at Singapore's Zouk club, which he lit up in 2011 and where he will kick off his 2012 tour on 7th September. From there he will take to the decks at Zouk (Kuala Lumpur), Mook (Shanghai), Onzieme (Osaka) before finishing off in Air (Tokyo) on 16thSeptember.
In the year since he was last in the Orient, a lot has been going on in the world of Moguai, not least a continual stream of exceptional music including his hit mau5trap album 'MPIRE', and an array of truly superb remixes for some of the biggest names in music.
Of course there's also more in the pipeline, including a new single out on mau5trap as well as a specially commissioned remix for music legend Moby's stunning track "Extreme Ways". Both are guaranteed must-listen-to releases, so be sure to look out for more news on when they'll be available to buy.
After debuting at number 1 in the iTunes electronic charts - top position where he remains ever since its release - with his new single "Keep Running The Melody feat. Kreesha Turner" (EMI), Wally Lopez is now announcing the release of a remixes EP to be available at Beatport from June 18. The 4-track EP features remixes by Moguai, Mihalis Safras and Redondo.
'MPIRE' - the extraordinarily successful album from electro ambassador, Moguai, that is full to the brim with tracks that'll make your heart race, your feet stomp and your fists pump - was presented to the world in early 2012 and it just won't stop supplying those who desire excellent electronic music with its sublime sonic delights.
Hot off the back of awe-inducing tours the world over and two smash singles - the Beatport chart topping 'Mpire' and 'Lyme' with his own mouthwatering 'Crushed Lyme' twist - we see the main man team up with one of the EDM world's hottest properties right now, the demon of the disks from down under that is Tommy Trash. What's more is that Mr. Trash has been especially generous by laying down a brand new club mix, which is out NOW on mau5trap and available to buy from Beatport and iTunes.
Having met and started to form ideas more than four years ago and then collaborating on the epic original of 'In N' Out' that features on 'Mpire', Tommy has now added a little more of the Trash magic to increase that dance floor feeling and the result is just as good as you'd expect. Crisp percussion and an intensified bass line provide this extra punch and, when it hits, you'll think you're up in the booth yourself.
Having steamrolled into 2012 with his critically acclaimed 'MPIRE' long player on the world-renowned mau5trap imprint, Moguai now returns with his brand new EP offering - 'Lyme' - the second single to be taken from the chart destroying album from January this year.
Having topped the overall chart with the first single 'Mpire', Moguai now looks to continue his 100% No. 1 Beatport Single track record for 2012 with this absolute juggernaut of a track. Featuring his own 'Moguai's Crushed Lyme Mix' that has previously only ever been aired in his live shows, the single package is available to buy NOW in digital format from Beatport and iTunes, we're in no doubt that Moguai will once again reach his over-exacting standards - this one's an absolute stunner!
With its fidgety electro blips and unrelenting synths this track is yet another unmistakably seismic offering from the German house titan. But 'Lyme' is more progressive and ultimately euphoric than his previous release, displaying another sumptuous string to the already impressive bow of this powerhouse producer; tantalizing build-ups and crashing waves of sound mean this is quite the ride, and one that you'll definitely want to get on again and again.
To continue with the good tidings, Moguai has just announced a further exclusive bonus package, available from Beatport's iPad app 'Mashbox', containing full remix stems that fans can test-drive to their heart's content - head over to Mashbox for more information.
In other news, Moguai's next release sees him collaborate with none other than Australian maestro and production wiz Tommy Trash for the almighty 'In N' Out' EP! Set to drop later this year, the forthcoming package will also feature an exclusive edit from Mr. Trash.
Ever the consummate professional, Moguai does his utmost to give the people what they want - and if the people want the best...they get the best. With a Beatport number 1, a Top 10 album on the iTunes Dance Chart and numerous tours across the planet already this year, 2012 is looking seriously bright for our German firm favourite.
