About 5 years ago, Motorpitch left the comfort of his engineering studio and went for a 2 month trip to Jamaica, earning his living by recording dubplates for various Jamaican sound systems. He went to the parties and dances set up in the middle of the road or in the woods, and was blown away by the passionate and sharing attitude that Jamaicans had towards their music. He took a piece of this attitude back to his studio in Vienna, and started making club music again with a whole new heart.
