Over the last four years, Brussels dance-music pioneer Geoffroy Mugwump and studio partner Kolombo have worked together under the Mugwump moniker, steadily achieving to build a truly impressive catalogue of genre-defying and timeless dance-music, on a wide variety of leading dance labels. From gigantic techno imprints such as Cocoon, Gigolo, R&S or their recurrent home Kompakt to fledging disco and leftfield house imprints such as Eskimo, Permanent Vacation, Endless Flight, International Feel, Misericord, Astrolab and buzzing NYC imprint Throne of Blood, their über-prolific output, tagged as "timeless" and "with a serious range" by Pitchfork, has gained dedicated dj support over the releases by the likes of of Michael Mayer, Andrew Weatherall, Craig Richards, Ivan Smagghe, Ewan Pearson, Sven Vath, Tiga, Simian Mobile Disco, Brodinski, Kiki, Chlöé, Cosmo Vitelli, Ellen Alien, Trevor Jackson, Damian Lazarus, Hell or Mark E to name but a really few.

The Mugwump sound is genetically Belgian and more leftfield-minded within the 4/4 frame, pleading for a total fusion and the emphasis on the groove and psychedelism or no restrain into the BPM choice. More specifically, Mugwump's sound fuses disco aesthetics together with modern techno leanings, as well as a touch of old Belgian New-Beat or electronic deep-house. As a DJ, Brussels dance-music pioneer GEOFFROY MUGWUMP has a long experience of working various international crowds with a CV that includes a 8 year-long residency at the now-defunct and mythic Food Club in Belgium and currently plays a broad range of dance music, melting electronic deep-house, cosmic techno, low-slung disco and bass music with a hint of (forgotten) classics while KOLOMBO plays his own brand of electronic house and disco globally.. Together they are available to perform their semi-live sessions as MUGWUMP DEX n FX, tweaking new re-edited and unheard versions from the Mugwump tracks with added keyboards, fx and samples, live in the mix and they also play driving dj sets together

Recent Mugwump works include remixes for NYC's CCC and Throne of Blood, an upcoming exclusive track on France's Astrolab records (with the likes of Justin Robertson, Andrew Weatherall, Ivan Smagghe, DJ Kaos, Toby Tobias and many more) and a scheduled remix for Andrew Weatherall's new Bird Scarer label and the Mugwump debut LP featuring the likes of Luke Jenner (The Rapture), Circlesquare, Mungolian Jetset, Ost & Kjex, Von Spar, Raphael Lee and Sami 'Morpheus' Birnbach (Minimal Compact), ready to be unleashed.
