Romanian Negru is one of the leading lights emanating from the Eastern Europe scene, having been one of the best known underground DJs in the area since 2006. This includes a residency at the seminal Studio Martin club in Bucharest and of course other appearances at the grand clubs of Romania like Kristal and La Mania, during which time he shared the decks with almost every heavyweight on the scene, from The Chemical Brothers to Danny Tenaglia. Since then, international gigs, including at DC10 in Ibiza for Circoloco have followed in abundance.

In a short space of time he has already chalked up many notable releases, such as Morning Express with Livio & Roby and Cabin Fever on Rekids, which was a top seller on the leading vinyl outlet decks.de out of Germany. Further releases have since followed on Barraca Music and Soweso, with his tracks appearing on a host of compilations, most notably several Cecille Records releases. With this finely-tuned ear, in part thanks to his rich musical up-bringing, Negru finds himself perfecty positioned to continue his rise.
