It happens naturally. Notion A and Artihc decided to dub themselves Static Defunc+.

Brought up somewhere early this year, the Singapore-based duo released their first EP(self-release) during the launch of Techno City at Avalon (SG) recently. 100 copies were given out and those are the only hard copies available.

Having influenced by the sounds of Techno for quite some time, Static Defunc+ looks rough and steady for the present and coming generations.

Both are known for their acts in the local(Singapore) Techno scene. Check them out:

Celebrating two years of bringing nothing but the best music to Singapore, the first collaboration with Zouk on 5th November was off the hook. Taking advantage of the new decor and installations of Velvet Underground (which has been split into two – Velvet Dance and Velvet Lounge), the night nothing short of insane. Midnight Shift promised a great night of techno, and boy, did they over-deliver. Surgeon graced the decks of Velvet Dance as the British mystery guest DJ for this installment.
