Biography of Oliver Dodd | |
Oliver Dodd began recording and producing music at the young age of twelve. Inspired by the punk and noise radio shows on the air in Atlanta in the late eighties, he began making his own music. Through his experiments with recording he soon discovered electronic instruments and then later the emerging sounds of House and Techno. Oliver became dedicated to creating electronic music, and for the next ten years Oliver would release records on such classic labels as K. Hand's Acacia Records, Woody McBride's Communique, Andy Dux’s Over-X-Posure, Tommie Sunshine's Xylophone Jones, and Bolz Bolz's World Electric Recordings. During this time Oliver also started DJing and performing live.
Today Oliver's tracks can be heard on such labels as Minus, Addon, Klectic, Sony,
Limikola, Monocline, and his own imprint Konstructure, and he has received widespread
support for his tracks from Richie Hawtin, Heartthrob, JPLS, Fabrizio Maurizi, John
Selway, Tim Xavier, Derek Plaslaiko, Insideout, Dustin Zahn, Click Box, Heron, Joel
Alter, Someone Else, Milos Pavlovic, Redj, Damon Wild, and countless others.
