No logo is a new, secretive project started by a group of producers who have between them released records on Yore, REKIDS, Moods and Grooves and more. The label is purely about releasing quality underground beats for those who buy records for the music, not for the names. Played by: Laurent Garnier, Dave Angel, D’Julz, Boris, Trevor Rockcliffe...

Laurent Garnier:
some more wiggle your arse off grooves - Looove it.

Dave Angel:
I love the tracks. @ last some proper music lol' i like atmosphere the mo good stuff man'.

Trevor Rockcliffe:
Feeling the Atmosphere joint the most! but will be working both tracks!

D’Julz:
nice summer vibe! will def play it.

Dominic Cappello:
Really like both tracks. Love the bassline and keys on Atmosphere and will def play
on Sat. My fave is Contemplate, i love the drums and rhythm to the track and when the keys come in it
sounds like a sample from an old lost soul track. Both really great tracks and the thing i like most is that
they are different from anything else out just now.

Tom Craven (Crosstown Rebels):
Two nice cutz! Contemplate is a nice percussive, summery track...
will go down well. Love the killer synths in atmosphere

Hello again Soldiers of the Deep and welcome to another Newsletter from the Yore Troops. Out now is the fabulous Orlando B. - “Beneath the Surface EP” on Yore-003ltd, which comes as green transparent 300 limited copies vinyl, which has gained incredible reviews in magazines around the globe. Lovers of the Deep will dig this one. Instant classic Deep House with a twist.
Artist: Orlando B.
Title: Beneath the Surface EP
Label: YRE-003LTD (Limited 300 copies / Transparent Green Vinyl)
Format: 12”
Distr. Word and Sound
Release Date: 31.05.2010 Buy now at: www.yore-shop.de

Yore returns with the 3rd release on the Yore Limited series. 300 limited copies in green transparent vinyl. A beauty musically and for the eye. Orlando B. favours the kind of funky and raw-sounding techno that flourished during the late-‘90s and early-‘00s and so naturally invests his maiden voyage on the Yore imprint with the same kind of classic soul that renders that earlier era’s sound so appealing.

« Beneath the Surface ep » largely focuses on warm house grooves. “A Feeling” dishes out eight minutes of classic deep house that’s also as funky as hell. A subtle Latin percussion vibe sneaks in at the beginning but quickly enough the tune rolls out a warm house strut that dominates thereafter; piano sprinkles, lush strings, and a crisp, hi-hat-spun groove give the tune added style and flair, as does the insistence of the titular vocal sample. “Esoteric” digs into a steamy, bass-driven house beat that’s both raw and funky, then slathers it with a synth solo that squeals with delight, while “New York Tale” smoothens its techno core with warm chords and delicious house swing. “MJ12” is the coolest and most techy cut on this diverse four cut ep. Orlando B. sprinkling billowing dub chords and a spoken voice sample over a rock-solid tech-house base that will go straight under your skin, when it hits you on the dancefloor. 300 copies left still. Go grab it !

Eastbound Recordings returns for its 3rd release! This time on a deep house tip, perfect for those long (summer) nights. Orlando B presents two oldskool house grooves with Detroit overtones and MR G takes care of the B-Side with his hypnotic ‘Mellow’ remix. Colin Dale:
It's a killerr 12" mate.....loving all three tracks but it's A2 that's simply killing it for me on a huge scale at the moment.......we need more music like this. A.! is killer too....full of lushness ans emotion......giving both max rotation.
B.1 is cool but I think you rock it on this one mate......well done.

Dave Angel:
Really like that track ‘dreaming of then’, takes me back.

Dave Mothersole:
Like all three tracks - best I've heard from you. Both your tracks are great and I'm feeling Colin's mix too. Full support - out and on radio.

Harri (Sub Club):
Both tracks are great as is Colins mix. Full support !!!

Trevor Rockliffe: Feeling all three joints on here but the mix I prefer the most is Mr G's.

JB (Bastardo Recordings): Loving the bassline and the key changes in 'Melancholy'. Deep yet with a really nice uplifting old-school vibe to it.

AIRPLAY:
XFM Dublin: No Territory - Lee Holman (03/03/09).

DJ History Podcast 32: Bill Brewster (17/09.2009).
