Have you ever tried to interview a dj while he is playing? It happened to me on February 3rd at Goa.
Have you ever tried to interview a dj while he is playing? It happened to me on February 3rd at Goa. These are “shots”, at last: asking point-blank questions to Djs. I grab pen and paper and I write few questions in capital letters and I forward them to Tassilio (the blonder one). He laughs, grabs the pen and starts to answer the questions just there, in the middle of the set. 5 minutes time, changing a record, and he gives me back the paper with the answers. Now, I can listen to this berliner techno duo again, pushing their sound and my mood to the limit. Awesome guys!
What about Goa club and Goa’s people? do you like them ?
100% Amazing, this night is just insane. you’re full of energy, I like you!
How “Pan-Pot” project started?
We started in 2004 studying together at the SAE institute of Berlin. We shared the love for techno: this is Pan-Pot.
Why do you prefer minimal instead of electro or house?
Fuck games, it’s all techno!!!
what about artist and music that formed pan pot?
Influences came from everywere but we need electronic, also a little bit, from downtempo to stronger things. Moreover there is all the music prior to electronic that we all have in our blood. Just to mention two names: Depeche Mode e Sven Väth.
Till what time are you going to go on tonight?
We have got records, you seem to have no problem, we’ll stay here as we hold on!
Thanks so much, you are very kind!
It’s been a pleasure have good time!

Mobilee duo ‘Pan-Pot’ serve up a slice of dark, twisted and moody techno for the newest Bodytonic mix.
The Berlin boys Tassilo Ippenberger and Thomas Benedix have made a name for themselves on the Berlin techno scene after joining forces with Mobilee’s first lady Anja Schneider in 2005. This cumulated in their critically acclaimed debut album ‘Pan-O-Rama. ’ The release of their first album and their energetic DJ sets made the pair a force to be reckoned with.

Pan Pot's brilliant set from the SLAM Tent @ T In The Park 2010. An amazing Tent in a biiig festival.
Slam have run the tent for over ten years bringing artists like Richie Hawtin, Green Velvet, Derrick May, Jeff Mills, Dave Clarke, DJ Yoda, Carl Craig, Andrew Weatherall, Fake Blood, Carl Cox, Felix, Four Tet and Sven Vath to name but a few to the 15,000 capacity tent.
