Daniel Serbu, a.k.a. PANTANY, was born in 1989, in Ploiesti, Romania.
Before even knowing what spinning records was, as a child Daniel grew up listening to rock music, exploring the psychedelic tunes of Pink Floyd, Tangerine Dream,Al di Meola etc.
After learning about Jean Michelle Jarre’s new innovative sound, he started developing a passion for electronic music. As new cassette-tapes,vinyl’s and CD’s went through his hands, he felt the unique buzz that house music had in particular. After some years of swinging through different kinds of minimal, techno and funky house, he found his true love somewhere around 126 beats per minute on a tech-house track. The idea of mixing beats together was also more and more appealing.
