A DJ, booking agent/artist manager, part-time promoter, spare time graphic designer, soon to be producer, full-time music lover! Paul Courtney is a young man from Dublin, Ireland who has been living and breathing electronic dance music for over half a decade and it is his obsessive addiction to this music that has seen his rise within the industry on a number of levels.

Paul Courtney is the founder of the now well renowned and respected booking agency, Babel Music Agency. Through his booking agency, Paul looks after many of dance music’s top DJs & producers including Alex Kenji, Scope, Davis & May, Thomas Schwartz, Michael Cassette, Paul Keeley, Nikola Gala, Sei A, Pawas, Nikitin and has also had the likes of Jerome Isma-Ae and Shur-I-Kan on the agency’s roster.

As a DJ, he has been steadily plying his trade for a number of years and has seen his reputation take a huge leap over the last 2 years. Paul has been a mainstay on the Dublin dance scene for over 4 years where he has been steadily building his profile through regular appearances across the city and residencies in the likes of Rogue and his own GET:music club nights. Not one to be tied down to any one specific genre, Paul's deep love and knowledge of music allows him to weave elements of progressive, techno, deep and techy house into his own infectious, lush, melody based club sound....a sound that soon caught international attention. During the last two years, Paul's sound was brought to the clubbers of Europe, Asia, Africa and the Australia's, where he has headlined at numerous venues across these continents including Double Six in Indonesia, Calypso in Tunisia, Glow in Bangkok and V-Bar in Sydney.

With Babel Music Agency going from strength to strength, Paul’s DJ shows being taken to more international destinations and with some exciting production projects scheduled for mid 2009, this is just the start of what looks to be a great career in the music industry for Paul.
