| | | Real name / | Ross Payzant | A musician, Dj, and graphic artist, Payzant comes from the Canadian circle that included Mathew Jonson, Cobblestone Jazz, The Mole, Konrad Black, and Hrdvsion. In 1998, he released the album “Garden City Dubs", that featured first material for many of these artists. He then moved down to California for 7 years, but stayed connected to his roots as the art director for Itiswhatitis Recordings. While in the US, he became heavily influenced by soul, rap and early american electronic music. In 2009 he launched his own vinyl label, DOJO. In 2010 he moved to Berlin to focus on production and live performance. He continues to do music and artwork for his label and others, including Wagon Repair and Truth is Light Records (founded by Jason Lev).
