 | | | Real name / | Dominik Pointvogl | | Aliases / | DJ Peabird | At the age of 12, Peabird bought his first record: Herbie Hancock's »Rockit«. This started a lifelong affinity towards collecting records and all kinds of audio media in general. DJ Peabird is playing records since the early 90s.
He is well-known for his innovative plays on sound, mixing a wide range of musical styles – Soul, Funk, Disco, Nu-Disco, House and Electro effortlessly blended together. Peabird revels in surprising an audience with a forgotten gem, an unknown banger, or a fresh take on a well-known hit! In 1994, he started producing his own music. Over the course of two decades in the music biz, he has amassed a collection of almost 100 own releases.
