PEOPLE GET REAL is the collective name for the DJ/production duo of Simon Lister and Peter Wilson. Since 2002 they have been consistently and thoroughly bringing their brand of dance-floor terrorism to parties in their native Newcastle, across the UK and beyond.
Alongside their continuing Wax:On residency in both Leeds and Newcastle, they continue to play at some of the best parties and most discerning dancefloors. Recent highlights include; Hideout Festival – Croatia, Warehouse Project – Manchester, Nitsa – Barcelona, Fridge Festival - Budapest, Global Gathering, Evolution Festival, Bugged Out and Over Club – Madrid. They continue to show their diversity by playing alondside the world's biggest hitters like; Erol Alkan, Sven Vath, Tiga, Loco Dice, Ivan Smagghe, Claude Von Stroke, Simian Mobile Disco and Craig Richards to name just a few.

Their productions and remixes along with long-time studio collaborator and producer John-Paul Denton, continue to be supported by the likes of Magda, Ivan Smagghe, Optimo, Erol Alkan, Clement Meyer, Jennifer Cardini, Brodinski, and Damian Lazarus. 2011 was their busiest year to date with original tracks and remixes on labels such as MEANT, Kill Em All and Metis (Days Of Being Wild. 2011 also saw them launch their own “Join Our Club” imprint, which has seen them release not only their own productions but also music and remixes from It’s a Fine Line, Justin Robertson, Tom Ellis, Eskimo Twins and The Countach. |
