Once you've done your research, though, you'd realise that Pierre Estienne is still very much a HOUSEhold name, today.
Initially the owner of Phat Beat Records, a record store which supplied many-a collector of the 12” with the finest beats. Upon making his mark in the fairest Cape, he moved further afield, sharing his immense ability with fellow lovers of the sound, around the globe.
From a residency at Ministry of Sound, Taipei, to regular visits to Berlin…he has mesmerised crowds, causing their bodies to undulate to his intelligent sound.
In between all of that, he's played host..
