Techno & electronica duo Posthuman are cousins Bevan & Doherty.
Formed in 1999, their output has massively varied in styles and genres from techno and electro to post-rock, ambient and IDM, but always with a signature style of menacing darkness, and a solid nod to the retro sounds of classic 80s and 90s techno.
The pair have also founded two record labels, Seed Records in 2000, and Balkan Vinyl in 2010, and released on numerous other labels, such as B12 Records, Tusk Wax, and Uncharted Audio
Posthuman were hosts of London's legendary tube station parties between 2001 and 2004, held in an abandoned underground train station, and (since 2007) London's famous acid-house retrospective night "I Love Acid"
