Pseudosonic (Alan Smithson) is one of the hardest working DJ's in Canada. He started his company, Star Productions Inc. in 1996 while studying Molecular Biology at the University of Guelph. After spending countless hours at the local nightclubs and bars (studying), he became the resident DJ for the on-campus bar The Keg and Nightclub The Bullring.

He saw a niche in the market for club DJ's for weddings and corporate events and went after it. Star Productions is now one of Canada's top Corporate DJ companies. Alan has played for events for 50 people right up to 3500, and that was just last weeks events! He has held residencies in several high-profile nightclubs over the years with the most recent being Dragonfly Nightclub at Casino Niagara.

Whether playing dark, hauting house music or fun party tunes, he is the most comfortable behind the decks with a raging crowd in front of him. With more than 2000 events under his belt personally and over 10,000 under Star Productions, he has the experience to rock any and every crowd.
