| | Fumio Motoyama (guitar), Toru Iioka (bass, Sampler) and Masato Saito (drums)
formed the instrumental band qodibop in 1998 in Sapporo. Their performance style is
based on live sounds from musical instruments (guitar, bass and drums) and they
infuse electronic elements into their minimalistic live sounds. The band infuses
inspiration from each member's various musical tastes, from techno to folk music,
electronica to jazz, resulting in a unique sound.
