It had a short run of 10 releases, drifting between glitchy dub atmospherics and clicky minimal, but always on the driving path of deep introspect and sonic experimentalism. Mixed during a humid and thunderous afternoon, my dusty hard drive was kept warm with the output of smooth pads, multidimensional rhythm, and emotive grooves lost in a haze.

Needless to say, the Lava Lounge began to melt away in a haze of surreal pulsations and tequila fueled percussion edits. Luckily, this recording survived the high temperatures.

While I don't expect to maintain a consistent monthly output from here on, great netlabels continue to inspire my drive to continue the series when I can find the free between two jobs and managing bleepsequence. So on a balmy evening in Pittsburgh, settled in with a bottle of Spanish wine, I began my explorations of Inoquo. And really only scraped the surface of their library of top notch techno.
