Born and raised in McAllen, Texas, Rey Aguilar started DJing at the young age of 12. Being influenced by the early 90's of hip-hop and the beginning stages of house music. At 17, Rey held many residencies in McAllen, and also Monterrey, Mexico playing alongside a host of different DJs such as Chris Fortier, John Acquaviva, Steve Porter,Justin Martin, MC Flipside, Austin Leeds, Steve Aoki, Tanner Ross, Worthy, Danny Daze and Lazaro Casanova.
