It all started for Rich Marsh back in the late 1990's, he remembers picking up a Defected mix album and instantly fell in love with the music, listenting to legends such as ATFC, Joey Negro, Erick Morillo and Jocelyn Brown inspired Rich to get involved in the music, for the love of all things House.

Picking up his own unique style it wasn't long before Rich was playing regularly in and around Southampton at various small bars and clubs promoting his own name and his own individual style of House music.

He was soon enough snapped up by one of the South Coasts top brands (Soul Intention) and asked to play at Southampton's (then) top nightclub, The Venue.
This proved a successful move on Rich's behalf, and soon enough he was playing a monthly slot along side some of the South Coasts top DJ's, such success enabled Rich to star at various other clubs over the coming years, such as Bambuu Bar, Seymours, The Wine Bar and The Whitehouse.

Through the early "noughties", Rich was playing week in week out all over the South of England and London guesting for many established brands and labels and in 2005 was asked to DJ for a new label, Houseworx, with another up & coming DJ and a live vocalist.

This again, proved to be a shrewd move, Rich became firmly involved with Houseworx and is now currently "co-founder".
Houseworx snowballed and made a massive impact in the clubscene in only its first year, holding down a very well respected monthly at Moloko's, The Red Rooms and Junk, In the years to follow clubs such as Pacha, Turnmills, Ministry of Sound and the Aquarium were making there way onto Houseworx's glowing resume and even a trip to Ibiza to play at Itaca, Pukka Up & Bar M showed how much recognition the brand had earned.

With his own unique twist on House music, Rich's sound is easily distinguishable, blending all genres of House music and not being afraid to throw something new into the mix. Club House is the foundations of Rich's sets, and he delivers this with a punch mixing classics with new funky, vocal tracks, quirky electro with breaks and always experimenting with accapellas, effects and samples, making sure is audience always enjoys a memorable clubbing experience.

Rich Marsh is clearly a DJ with alot of character, passion, motivation and a clear grasp about the music he loves. It is no suprise to have seen him rise up the ranks, and over the coming years, who knows what can be achieved......one to watch out for indeed.
