Riso, born in Nijmegen in 1984, started playing records at his friends parties when he was still young. After visiting his first houseparty at the age of 17, he decided to buy a couple of turntables and started experimenting with different music styles. When he moved to Groningen for his study, he started playing at small local parties. But since he was the winner of a local dj contest in February 2007 he became more famous in the scene.

Riso now can look back on performances at the Maassilo (Cocoon), Simplon (Technootjes), Doornroosje (Planet Rose, Tomorrow), Huize Maas (Club Pepper, Hey!), Pand 48 (Te Semrig, Stiletto), Club Stalker (Never grow up), Inferno (Deeplay), Canvas (Weekbreek) and concepts like Schmoov, Progressive City, Buurthouse and many more.. He’s also been busy with releasing his own records, together with Matthijs Wentink.
