Rob Nigro

Rob Nigro is a Sydney based Dj and producer, a work-a-holic when it comes to DJing and anything house music related. Driven by passion, a love for the music and a desire to please the crowd has set this 20 something on the path to bigger and better horizons.


In a scene over populated by people wanting to make it big and quick or be seen as the next cool kid Rob has taken patient road with a meticulous attention to detail in all that he does which has taken him too new heights notably working the 2008 summer in Ibiza.


Rob says:
“As long as I can remember, music has always been my life. After Djing from an early age of 14, 10 years on and nothing has changed. I have been producing for the last 4 years and im finally ready to get out of the backseat and make my mark because I know who I am”

His passion for music and the music making process drove Rob to graduating in a course of Audio Engineering with honours.

“I have so much to offer and I am looking forward to getting out and doing what I have to do. To be honest, it’s about time I do too. I believe in myself and have a duty with the world to share what I have been given"


April 2008 saw Rob leave Australian shores for the white Isle Ibiza where he lived with the Queen of the Island Sarah Main a Pacha resident and Dj Dazzla Guarana, Es Vive & Pacha resident. His summer in Ibiza saw Rob gain a residency at Guarana- Ibiza and guest spots at:

Pacha Terrace- Ibiza
Es Vive – Ibiza
Aura – Ibiza
Sol den sera – Ibiza.

Along the way rubbing shoulders with worlds most well renowned dj’s, he gained invaluable knowledge and enriched his music folders with tracks only few posses.


Robs says:
“My music is still very broad after all the different styles of music the years have brought upon us, but I take my main influences from trance, electro, House, progressive House and of course Old Skool Jungle Breakbeat into my production work”.


Having gained the experience In Ibiza learning from best Rob is back in Australia to concentrate on his production work and has signed on to become a Society Resident for the 2008/09 summer which will see him gig around Sydney showcasing his production and spinning abilities. 2009 looks to be Rob Nigro’s year!!!!
