Room 10 is one of those slighty mysterious projects, one with undeniable talent and originality. This Parisian duo met in 2003 on the premises of Vallée FM. Hector, bassist and pianist, was running the show "Chile con Mix" and was also collaborating with the label Time Bomb Hip Hop Records. GueT, DJ in Parisian clubs and a jazz enthusiast , composed in the electro-jazz project, InfraJazz.
Both fans of musical creativity and sharing a sense of composition, they decide to embark on a real sound experimentation. Applying their hip hop and jazz backgrounds to electro, they released their first album - Expansion EP, which is both subtle and enchanting - in 2007 on the Australian label Pinksilver. The Room 10 engines had then officially started.
