Entering into a number of diffent styles and sounds over Fifteen years of D.Jing has brought nothing but experience and individuality to Ryan's DJ sets.
From the start his music has been heavily influenced by the New York house sound of the mid ninety's, "The live elements and off beat percussion commonly used, are perfect ingredients in the records i like to play".
Like many Dj's of today, Ryan's sound is best discribed as straight up House, but with a modern approach. Throw into the mix an influence from the early days of Danny Tenaglia, Steve Lawler, Red Jerry and also Bands such as the Doors and you begin to find something quite special. " Danny Tenaglia, Steve Lawler, Satoshi Tomei, Lee Burridge, Simian Mobile Disco, Josh Wink, Nick Curly & Gorge, Stuart Patterson and System of Survival are just a few who have influenced my D.Jing over the years".
After completing a music production course eight years ago, Ryan went on to assisting in teaching students of the course the basics of music production and sound engineering. Now finding the joy of taking his own productions onto the dancefloor Ryan now regularly performs in country's such as Spain, Lithuania and various U.K events.
Back in the early days, gaining his first residency at the monthly Divinyl night at Time in Bangor (one of the only nights in North Wales to host Sasha) became the perfect opportunity to play to a larger crowd. Ryan started to make a name for himself, the experience at Divinyl gave him the confidence to enter two major competitions held in the North West, taking second place in both.
In 2005 Ryan becomes the new resident for Manipulate. D.jing regularly along-side some of the worlds most sought after D.js including Tom Demac, X-press 2, jon carter, Yousef, Grooverider, RhythmCode and Ralph Lawson along with hosting the bar on the 'Get Physical Tour' at British Superclub 'Sankeys' he can also be found regularly supporting Tour Brands such as Hed Kandi, Godskitchen and the Ministry of sound.
