| | At the young age of 19, Sam Watkins developed a passion for electronic music and a set of turntables were purchased followed by mass records being bought to fulfill his appetite for mixing.
After teaching himself how to mix with support from close friends and fellow DJ’s Sam landed his first booking early 2006 at one of Auckland and New Zealand’s top events, Summadayze. Stepping up to the plate delivering the goods the flood gates opened, numerous bookings started to come his way; including top NZ brands Slinky, Octane, Bezerk, Stereodays, Frantic, Amplitude and Floorplay.
