SEBAS RAMIS
Before going into Sebas life in more depth, we should be clear about his career which covers every area, becoming a complete artist. His dedication and perseverance have turned him into the person who is today; a Producer, DJ and International Record Label Manager.
The beginning is stipulated at the age of 16, when he used to play 90’s tracks on the radio. It was those good times of expansion and explosion of the House Music in Europe, occasion that brings him to the DJ booth and vinyl, already being 20 years old, with his own Radioshow (3 hours length) where one could taste the impressive Deep House and Techno people was crazy with.
From there, he opened his own Club called Aloha (in Can Picafort), where he ends up meeting Isaac Indart, future partner in the Records road. Centered in 2003, with extensive experience in several fields, he gives a shot to his Events Promotion Company, named Little Rouge, serving as a gate to be called for DJing in most clubs of the Island like Menta, Cats, Torino; as well as being DJ Resident in Sala Fonica for the next 7 years.
In 2005, prior to the “big step”, he creates Sub_Urban alongside Vik-T, his current Events Promotion Company (still working), where they took over several international names to work with. That year, he finishes his first productions in collaboration with Isaac Indart then kicking off Malo Records, a quite particular Record Label, full of quality. They have released 2 EP in vinyl mode, just before the arrival of the digital age, then stopping until 2007 when Malo Records comes back with a third EP, a success produced by Pig & Dan and Tato, including Sebas Ramis and Isaac Indart Remixes. During that year he also learnt the experience of working with Elmar Schubert, a new partner in future releases.
Sebas keeps his music taste bearing in mind the dynamism he finds between Deep House and Minimal Techno, either in production and live shows. He’s been asked for a few national and international tours; cities like Barcelona, London, Las Palmas and Valencia have appreciated his special touch when DJing.
Being already in 2011, more focused in Music Production, he creates a brand new project Kidzz (alongside his friend Guri), and released his first work “Bubble”, remixed by Rio Padice. He also appears as Remixer in other singles, highlighting his work for Anhura Records, added to the WMC Compilation and then, his first EP for House Ha Ha, with Danny Fiddo & J.M. Aboga and Federicco Locchi in the remix part. This has drawn attention towards him again and again, climbing charts and getting into special club nights with X-Press 2 and Marco Carola to name a few.
2012 still brings surprises in regards to Sebas’ career. He released a new EP with Lomez, remixed by Tato (Isgud Records/Dc10) as well as some solo-singles, and hardly working with his record label.
Malo Records has always been an important project, collecting awesome results and being a standout through different charts over most of the major stores; and signing various licenses for Compilations in other labels.
During the summer Sebas is seen DJing for Puro Beach Porto Montenegro, a growing company that owns these spectacular Beach Clubs in places such as Montenegro (the old Yugoslavia), Palma de Mallorca, Marbella, Vilamoura (Portugal), Mar Negro – so at this time we can affirm he will take a little break as Producer until September at least, when it’s thought he’s going to finish new songs to be released by the end of the year.
