DJ Sevenstyler alias Christian Jetzer was born on June 13, 1984, in Winterthur, Zurich (Switzerland). Since he was a child, music has been his great love. During his elementary school years he entertained family and friends with his flute and cello solos. As a teenager he took a great interest in the Hip Hop scene; he has particularly been taken with the German Rap. Fascinated by the power of music he soon started trying to get the parties going by hitting the perfect beat.

When he bought his first House CD in 2000 he got infected with the House virus. So he became a regular club and party-goer to exchange experiences with other DJs. Also the step into the vinyl shop became obligatory. He finally got himself his first DJ equipment in 2003. From that moment on he spent a lot of time in experimenting on his own style. His effort was worthwhile. In 2003 Sevenstyler started by appearances at private parties, followed in 2004 by the first bookings at clubs in Zurich, the House City of Switzerland. In the same year he became Resident DJ at the KIFF in Aarau where he performed monthly. From 2005 to 2006 he could considerably extend his list of references with regular bookings across Switzerland. Among them highlights as his first appearance at the Metro Club in Olten, his first booking abroad in Austria as well as again in Olten his first engagement at the EL Harem Club, the most popular House Club in the Swiss Mittelland. A sparkling New Year’s Eve performance at the Soundgarden in Scoul at 2150 m above sea-level was the culmination of the year.

With his friend Ian Steiner alias DJ Matt Newman he founded the DJ Team Groove Defenders in 2007. They attracted the attention of the party people by their appearances at the Liquid Bar in Zurich. In autumn 2007 Sevenstyler brought out his first Promotion CD “My Style”. Apart from that one did not hear much about him because of further job training. With new power and several bookings at different Swiss clubs Sevenstyler made a successful start to 2008.
From April to December he will stay in Vancouver (Canada) to improve his knowledge of the English language. Of course he will also try to transfer the party spirit to the Canadian party people.

Sevenstyler means 7 different styles of House music (Pumpin, Vocal, Tribal, Progressiv, Deep, Tech und Latin House). By experimenting with the different styles Sevenstyler succeeds in adapting his set to the particular audience. Fun and an enthusiastic musical performance are obligatory with each of his appearances!
