Sander Smeekes alias Shibbstarr is a producer from the Netherlands who lives in Almere. He got his first release in 2009 with a progressive style EP on Salamandra Records. But he got very fast interested in the techno/minimal scene. That year he made a deal with Animal Play Minimal to release a 5 track EP. That was the moment when he really started to make techno. Later on, he got several releases on labels like: Plastik.FM,Eklero Records,Inspiration Records, Drag Music,VEEE, Louche records (Label Louche) & more. He is still releasing and one of his tracks already got supported by David Labeij.
