 | | | Real name / | Alberto Andreoni | A native of Italian island Sardinia, Alberto Andreoni first picked up a guitar at age 13, intitially lured by the glamour of rock music, but soon delved deeper into theory and classical guitar. By his late teens, Andreoni had already gained an international perspective (having called Denver, Rome and London his home) and decided to study formally at Berklee College of Music in Boston, spending his free time performing in combos at local cafes and lounges. By this point Andreoni was a bona fide jazz snob, but in 2000, upon relocating to New York City, he was ready to expand his musical frontiers.
