It’s all about the perfume, the mysterious aromas, the veil of smoke, the vibe, the groove and the pulse of the life itself expressed by the magic of the sounds. “Smoke In The Streetsâ€, the opening track of Sinan Kaya debut full-length album take us the universe of the untold stories of the “One Thousand and One Nightsâ€, hypnotize you and rock you into it while you can almost touch the smoke floating around. Then Sinan Kaya lead us gently through his raw beats and smoothly dislocated, subtle and floating sounds, mixing up Oriental aromas with Jazz vibes, minimalist Techno beats with Deep House pulses and Dub fueled sounds. He merge the Magic of simple things hidden in Life with the pleasure of dancing through the night nice and easily.
“No Negotiation†reveals some smooth Jazz infusions, a discrete piano runs throughout the song gave it a special taste while the beat keeps you moving. From the same area is “One Fine Day†too, while the beats are pumping, the music is made up of sparkling sounds and slowly moving layers creating a nice, intimate contrast.
“The Next Morning†and “Delizio†featuring Hakan Ludvigson are merging the same smoothness with the upbeat pulse of the dance floor while “Simplisticâ€, “A Blessing In Disguise†and “Bughouse†are more beat oriented, dance dedicated tracks. Throughout this is quite a charming trip, Sinan Kaya have style and taste to mix up emotions with beats and Western grooves with the subtle Oriental spirit.
Dj and producer from The Bosphorus, Istanbul, Sinan Kaya began spinning records at the year 2001. He has been refered with EPs during the improving progress. Deep and tech elements are which defines his productions and sets nowadays, but it’s also possible to notice eclectic materials of jazz, Chicago and Detroit…
Sinan Kaya explain his work: “Creating unique sounds provides me a different vision for life.â€
With several vinyl and digital hit EPs released during the past two years, Turkish producer Sinan Kaya has quickly built a name for himself.

Sinan Kaya from Istanbul has been DJing and producing for more then a decade.'Control Me' is a hooky deep house with twisted chords and groovy bassline, and features remixes by Murat Kilic and Shades of Gray.
Sinan Kaya’s first release on Beef Records is no slouch, as the man from Istanbul delivers Control Me and its sexy to say the least. In true Beef Records style the EP delivers an original track with two remixes by Murat Killic and Shades of Gray respectively. Kaya’s original offers a warm, nostalgic dose of deep house with catchy vocal samples used to great effect. Not relying on vocal samples alone Kaya layers organ like chords laced with a wobbly synth stab and a dirty bass line to get things grooving. It would easily work a treat in warm up duties to set the mood “on fire”.
Killic’s Trucking remix delivers a more minimal interpretation of the original, offering re-cut vocals which he is clearly having fun with. Being a stripped back allows you to appreciate the nuances of groove and space, subtlety is the key word. While this doesn't lose site of the dancefloor, you just can’t help but just want that little bit more.
Shades of Gray's Fever Pitch rework is indeed twisted, courtesy of the cut up vocal samples worked into the background throughout the track. Offering a cocktail of flavour you get a shot of disco and house for the same price. The extra samples really set this one apart with the string ensemble keeping you in check, this is dancefloor material and there’s no two ways about it.
Another consistent offering from Beef, it must be a good sign if you can’t get the vocals out of your head. “Keep on trucking baby”
