Amsterdam based label Indigo Aera have revealed details of a four-part series focusing on unreleased material from those close to the label, with the first 12″ featuring tracks from Skudge and Different World.
The label was founded some two years ago by DJ and producer duo Jasper Wolff and Maarten Mittendorff as an outlet for limited quantity Detroit influenced “machine soul techno music”, and has released material from Stephen Brown, Steve Rachmad and Skudge (pictured above) as well as the label bosses themselves. The newly announced Lost Archives is a planned series of four vinyl only releases that sees Indigo Aera look to put out unreleased material from friends of the label.

Each 12″ is limited to 377 copies; the first features Skudge’s “Möbius” (available to preview below) on the A-side, supposedly a special version of the intro the duo use in their analogue-heavy live setup, while the B-side features “Think Twice”, a track produced by Claude Young & Takasi Nakajima under their Different World alias, and which featured on Marcel Fengler’s Berghain 05 mix CD from 2011.

The release will be one of many Skudge will have a hand in this year; they recently revealed a list of forthcoming releases for their eponymous label, with 12″s on the way from MRSK, Jared Wilson, October, Boddika, Alex Cortex, Basic Soul Unit, Rolando, Fishermen and newcomer Koehler, as well as an album from Aardvarck due to arrive in 2013.
