Digital Sensation UK's 1st release of the year comes from the duo Slang & Technodreamer. After their first release with DSUK "Falling" last year, they return with 2 original tracks in their own unique melodic breaks style. Trukers provides a classic prog breaks remix, Monojoke's remix combines melody with gritty, distorted tones and Matrick introduces some techy grooves.

The original of Sunblaze is AMAZING!

Llupa
Cool original - nice mash of styles, the prog top end and the groovy bottom - me likey. Dig the Trukers remix, nice vibes and progressions. Monojoke focusses in on the groover and builds a track around this, but with a much dirtier vibe. Matrick, turns it more nu skool with the groove and accents beats and FX. Most of these will get a good spin from me depending on the set but I think my fave is the origial.

Yanix
Trukers and Monojoke remixes for me. I really enjoyed the bass progression in Monojoke's remix, but I think the real winner here is the Trukers remix, especially the first half of the track the way it builds before the breakdown. The bass sounds are great and the parts from the original are incorporated brilliantly. This sound takes me back a few years, which is great becasue we need more breaks tracks like this. GREAT start for DSUK in 2012!

John Grief
Both the original tracks are good quality musically speaking, but if i am picking a track from this ep to play then it would have to be the Monojoke Remix - I prefer its dirtier approach.

Big Nick D
The whole release has some tight grooves & tasty production... I think I like the Matrick rmx best.

Sunblaze original and Trukers remix are great!

Great mix bag here, liking the original of Sunblaze, nice and chilled vibe, all remixes are sweet, but really diggin the Trukers and Monojoke remix - Trukers full of melody bliss and Monojoke is a progressive beast.

Yreane
Sunblaze original is damn great. I love it. Also feel Monojoke and Matrick remixes. Cool package.

For this release, DSUK strip things back a bit with a wonderfully slow-burning, atmospheric progressive breaks track "Falling" from Spring Tube label head Latvian DJ Slang and Lithuanian Technodreamer. Hungarian producer Krum and Japanese duo Sol8 are on remix duties with their own unique interpretations.

Slang & Technodreamer combine in their original to come up with a classic sounding progressive breaks track with tight beats and clean production at the forefront of deep, icy soundscapes. Flutters of melody, soothing synths and drones take you on a delicate descent into the depths of a snowy landscape. A track for chilling out to or as an intro to a deep, atmospheric set.

Hungarian producer Krum has already been making a name for himself on labels such as Morphosis and Ego Shot. Retaining the deep vibe of the original, he adds thumpier beats and a subtle oscillating bassline which, coupled with a beautifully atmospheric breakdown, builds on the cooling textures. A great track for bridging the transition from light to dark in progressive sets.

With only a handful of releases at present for labels such as Dusted Breaks, we were more than happy to help Japanese production duo Sol8 spread their unique sound. Keeping the melodics of the original, they turn up the temperature on this interpretation with crispy beats, spacey synths and a crunching, top end bassline. A great mixture of subtle synths and twisting textures really keep the listener interested!

Krum Remix : This is ok, it kinda just flow along, but dont hit me with a huge bang to the the heart strings.
Sol8 Remix : Again kinda just flows along but dont hit me for 6, sounds a bit to messy in parts for my delicate ears, not really my thing.
Out of this lot the original i will be playing for sure, this is really clean, so clean when i listened to it, it reminded me of ice =)”
