Slim started dj-ing around 1985 at boring school parties. In 1989 he took his first residency in a club. Slim´s musical style grew out of the record collections of his older brothers friends and classmates. From Soul to Funk and Disco and Boogie to Bossa. From Hip Hop to Breakbeat to Swingbeat and from House to Electronica and Tech-House....
He played allover Germany and numerous gigs worldwide but still considering himself as a "not a professional type of DJ". He likes his understatment....
Slim Schludy opened for several big names from gods like Quest Love to DJ Harvey.
SLIM is also a music industry veteran and is running a management agency and is label owner of UP JUMP THE BOOGIE Records.
