Biography of Snk

Real name / Pedro Martins

One thing you definitely to have to say about modern electronic music, is that identity is one of its most important components and uniqueness appears when you create from the depths of your soul and with your heart ! After years of experience Dj’ing trough different locations from Europe to Brazil, working on the studio with friends, side-projects and curious, Pedro Martins created SNK, a combination of his love for electronic music, art, sound design and engineering.

Based on his own experiences and ideas, his sound refuses to fall into a singular category. It´s unique and unconventional and one could name it a forward thinking balance of Techno, House, Progressive with a pinch of Electronica. Open minded, Pedro developed his performances around some of the most recent technologies which allow him to play, tweak his loops, manipulate several effects live and therefore build sets that strike a chord with audiences.

His works have been released on Brotech, Plusquam, 24 Hours, Flow Vinyl, Stereo Paradise, his own imprint Micro Digital and have been supported by DJs, such as Kassey Voorn, Dimitri Nakov, Lemon8, Pena, Ingo Vogelmann, Antix/Fiord, Daniel Mehes, Beauty & the Beat, Marcelo Vasami, inSilico, Sonic Union, Silinder and Fran Von Vie among others. SNK will always be daring and different, anything that will assert of purpose and imaginative vision against the slavery of the ordinar and so should you.
