As DJ, producer, and owner of one of Germany’s oldest techno labels, Sophie Nixdorf is well-rooted in the music scene.
Starting as a DJ at the Palazzo’s ‘We-Love-Music events’ and in clubs such as Frankfurt’s U60311, she’s been successfully spinning the decks alongside the techno scene’s most well-known DJs’ ever since.
Sophie also keeps herself busy working as a producer. Her first release YOKOHAMA NIGHTS on OVERDRIVE (which was remixed by D. Diggler, Toni Vokado, Matt K and Kia) was directly followed by a remix of LEXYs New Day Dawning.
In 2012 with her track SENSO on Diametral, Sophie made it onto grandmaster RICHIE HAWTIN’s playlist. Richie then played the track all over the world in clubs like Amnesia, at his own event “Enter” in Space on Ibiza, and at festivals like the Sunw..
