 | | Music has always been a vital part of Sophie's life. Following early piano experiences, her 80s were filled with pop, dancefloor and independent. The 90s eventually led her to electronic music. Whether techno, house or acid, the Frankfurt Club Scene set the beat.
Sophie's first contact with electronic music dates back to 1994, listening to the celebrated radio show HR-Clubnight, which then featured live sets of techno legends like Sven Väth and Carl Cox. Highly influenced by the music played in clubs like Frankfurt's Box, Omen, Dorian Gray and especially in off-the-wall locations where underground parties took place, techno became part of her life. With all her favourite clubs closing down in 1999, Frankfurt's U60311 became the new party hub and the source of her musical inspiration.
