FRANK GARCIA aka SPEKTRAL
This DJ of raves started dabbling in the world of electronic music at the age of 16, influenced by the sound of artists like Oscar Mulero, Jeff Mills, Richie Hawtin, Anthony Rother, Surgeon and Aphex Twin.
He possesses an experimental and technical talent of speed and precision and his sets are characterized by dark, thumping beats and relentless energy. At only 17 he was a major player in the local rave scene.
In association with Radio Elektrotime 91.3fm he was the instigator of raves and parties throughout Catalunya. Under the alias Frankie Dj he collaborating with collectives and soundstystems including NST, TMK, Dysconform, 4 Banks, Nexensound and Enga, Karras...
During this time Spektral also formed the XTECH collective with various friends (inc Rankun and Hipnoise).
Since 2002 XTECH have hosted their own events in Wapacha club " techno sessions" (Piera), sharing the decks with guest djs including Markos dj and Nuria Ghia. In 2003 they started to perform at sonar in clubs like KGB (Bcn), Marroket, Loops (Sabadell), Scorpia and Dome (Igualada). Meanwhile a stint living in Valencia in 2005 saw Spektral return to his rave roots, djing at free parties within the reigon.
This period saw the development of another facet to the Spektral sound. He started to perform sets of breakbeat and drum&bass, driven by a desire to explore other genres of electronic music. During this time he concurrently performed under the alias Rene Indiano.

To date Spektral has participated in projects with with valvula record ( brasil) guillorina recs,( brasil) sonotech rec, techno addcited rec, ThreeSoul.... He has performed in renowned clubs and festivals throughout Spain including Habitat, LaSuit, The Glass, florida 135, Vogue,la cova. Cerkal Festival ( Bcn), Underground (Ibz), One Club, Twist, Namek, yasta ( Madrid), Elecciones del Techno (Huesca), Le Club , Sun Flowers ,Liquid, Pampols (Vlc)....

And he has shared the decks with djs like Mark Broom, Bas Mooy, Industryalizer, Tomash Gee, Dave the Drummer, Javier Orduña, Fran the Breakstorm, Joc , Negat, Le Chic, Hipnoise, Rankun, Dean Amo, Raul mezcolanza, Eye Punk, Experiments, Sonico ,Nuria ghia ,Gabriel d or, Coyu., Allan ramirez, Bubu,Nuria swan (.vocalist) , Juanra Martinez, the Minimum. Javi always , Ian Hendrix , Lexlay, and many others.. .

Spektral continues to push boundaries and explore new sounds within the realm of techno and beyond. Currently he is the resident dj at Vogue Techno Club where you can find him many a Friday....& dj resident -x-inercia partys in Barcelona and he is the label manager of Underground Family Records .
