He was also greatly influenced by the early house sound of chicago DJing at various house music parties in the early 90's.
In 2007 he started A Deeper Groove with his Brother Joc putting on nights in clubs and bars around glasgow playing Deep house with elements of nu Jazz, broken beat, soul funk and disco.
He can also be heard spinning all things deep and soulful on pressure radio.
As well as spinning all things deep, steph is also one half of production team A Deeper Groove with 3 recently released EP's on Glasgow based label Twitchywu music
Steph is also now 1 half of A Deeper Groove Recordings, with their first release "A Deeper Groove - 1965 EP" receiving critic..
