Biography of Stephen Clements |  |
There must be something in the water in the South East. Hailing from the same home town as John Digweed and Danny Howes, Stephen Clements has honed his musical talents over the last 12 years.
Going from local press to DJ Magazine coverage Stephen Clements has now played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Steve Lawler, Paul Kalkbrenner, knewmi cahony, Lottie, Matt Tolfrey, SiS, Jimmy Hill, Cedric Maison (Hypercolour), Simon Little, Japhy, Yanis Bilalis, Marc Romboy and Jim Rivers.
Growing up around the launch of Bedrock, which started on Hastings Pier, Stephen was inspired by electronic music. Following his success in the local underground party scene he secured his first residency at the consortium by the age of 23. He now has three residencies under his belt (Le Cloer Discotech / Groove/ Consortium) and has played at some of the most iconic venues across the country including Hastings pier, The Crypt, Ministry of Sound, Turnmills and The River Bar.
More recently he has got into production and is now looking to develop a new set of skills in the studio alongside his DJing work. |
