Steve Bug is one of the elder statesmen of house, despite his youthful appearance he has been a major cog in underground electronic music machinery since the late 90's. His label Pokerflat was turning out stripped back simple house grooves long before minimal blew up and many would credit the label as being the forerunning pioneers in that scene. It is perhaps his unwillingness to bow to hype....
