| | I grew up a kid in the LA rave scene between 97 til about 2002 with very strong b-boy and hip hop roots. I bought my first turntables when I was 16 but couldnt really afford to buy all the records I wanted. My uncle had a massive record collection from the 80s full of everything from acid house, new wave, industrial and beyond. He let me have them and these are the first records I actually learned to beat match with. I really got into those sounds and eventually found my way into mixing a montage of anything I can get my hands on while maintaining a well programmed set.
