 | | | Real name / | James Storr, Ashley Johnson | The Surrealists started off as something for the 2 members (Storry 25 & Ashley J 23) to do in their spare time. It started when the 2 old friends from going to old house nights met up randomly at a afterparty and both ended up playing on the decks that night. Immediatley realising they had similar sound interests (tribal, ethnic minimal / techno) and how well they worked together getting people moving they decided to get the Surrealists project up and running, aswell as help get the city of Hull recognised as not just a funky / electro night.
