Biography of Sven LauxSven Laux was born in Neubrandenburg, Germany. His calling began in 1998 by creating music with simple computer programs and his first keyboard. Soon after he developed a passion for sampling and looping tracks, and he began to create his own special sound - often minimalist deep techno and ambient using field recordings, clicks, pops and glitches.
He has released and remixed on labels like Microcosm, 31337, spontanMusik, Multi Vitamins, Archipel, Unfoundsound, Tropic, Unoiki and others.
In 2008 he started another project called Offtopic - through which he presents an atmospheric non-dancefloor sound merely through improvisation. |
