Sven Weisemann's lastest single on Mojuba, ‘Emphasized', made RA's Top 50 Tracks of last month, being placed at a highly respectable no.18! Not a bad effort from the young German producer who sees his latest 12" placed amongst artists such as Laurent Garnier, Ricardo Villalobos, Nina Kraviz, as well as The Revenge remix of ‘In My System' by The Gathering. The single has sold out from leading record stores including Phonica and Boomkat but never fear, it is still available from BM Soho, but be sure to get hold of it quick before it vanishes! 2011 is already looking bright for Sven with an LP in the pipeline- hopefully due out sometime in early summer. If his recent releases are anything to go by, it is set to be something very special indeed. Keep your eyes peeled!

Still in his early twenties but with an immense body of work already behind him,
Sven Weisemann is one of the most precociously talented producers of his generation.
His sumptuously arranged music - released on a range labels including Mojuba, A.R.T.less, Styrax Leaves, Apple Pips and Meanwhile - brings together elements of Detroit techno, Chicago house, dubstep and dub-techno.
His latest release, the Xine LP, finds him indulging his interest in ambient and cinematic sounds, but his FACT Mix has definitely been assembled with the dancefloor in mind. An abundantly funky mix of jacking house and skipping techno, it gives you some idea of what to expect when Sven plays alongside the mighty Chez Damier at London's Lost In The Loft party on November 14:
