System 2 is the DJ and production alias of Charlie McConville. Based in Dalston, East London, his sound had been forged by various strains of underground genres and inspired by an ever mutating electronic scene. He has played at venues such as the legendry Corsica Studios for Interakt, Shorditch's underground mashup Public Life, Kennedys basement club in Dublin and Dalston rave den The Russian Bar at his night Sub-Merge.

His DJ & production style has developed over the years to incorporate elements of electro, breaks & tech funk, his 1st release's came in 2009 with a remix on Seamless Black and an EP on R3tox Recordings. He has also played guest mix slots for Brap FM on the Boxroom & Mantis shows and on NSB Radio for the Tech Funk Sessions.

During his time working for dance label Seamless Recordings he has mixed and engineered for Ben Sowton on various compilations including Best Nights Ever House Party & Beach Party, Whoop Classics Vol 1, Elle Elle Premiere Lounge & Puro Desert Lounge Vol 3.
