The raw stream of talent bred from Canadian shores has often been adopted by educated European floorfillers… from Basic Soul Unit, Mathew Jonson, Cobblestone Jazz and… ahem… Mr Hawtin.
But one of the most interesting artist’s to emerge from the North American hotbed in recent times is The Mole; an overtly eccentric character, Colin de la Plante sculpted his musical path in the 90s featuring regularly on the scene in his native Montreal.
