The Robot Scientists (TRS) are from Germany, based in Saarbrücken and Berlin. More than 20.000 downloads of their retrofuturistic cosmic/italo/space edits and vinyl-only mixes show that The Robot Scientists have a large fan base out there. TRS are respected worldwide for their sophisticated track selections and energetic live sets with their unique spaced out, hypnotic, vocal-driven mix of NuDisco, Indie-Electro, Synth Wave and Deep House. The TRS collective exists since 2008. It consists of DJs and vinyl collectors Markus Schneider and Stefan Maurer, supported by Ex-Studio 54 DJ & engineer Ronald Springer, DJ and art director Oliver Schneider, producer Fred Scholl and guitarist Eric. The Robot Scientists launched their own label "Emerald & Doreen Recordings" in early 2012.
