Born in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, in 1981, Remy Vaz was grown up by his grand-ma in Lisboa before coming to Switzerland in 1988. he was touched by electronics grooves at 13 years old...

TIVE was infected by dark tempos and deep grooves when he was a child... touched by sounds from Detroit and German Techno such as Richie Hawtin aka Plastikman, Sven Vath, Carl Cox, Jeff Miles, Adam Bayer, DJ Hell from 1996 to 2000, he started spinning in underground clubs with a progressive techno minimal under the name of Dienem.

Inspiration was lost with Techno music until the day he heard new sounds in 2008 from Cesare vs Disorder and he realized that his passion for music was just waiting for the right moment!!

TIVE is a pure product of Techno influences with deep and heavy kicks; breakbeats and bass lines ! Old school ultimate flows and melancholic dub reggae were, are and will influence his music for ever.

In 2010, Tive met Octave. He definitely took his music to the dark side and restarted to play in clubs with a purpose, no more limits ! Music is culture from easy minimal to Heavy Dark Techno. All kinds of music are part of one's musical background. Influences are important to keep open minded.

Coaching and teaching by brothers artists like Fabrizio DB, Purcell, Ryan Hawkin, David Fjorgenson, Konpiuta, Lee-o, Philippe Dunst and more... He begins to play his own style and create new Techno concepts in clubs like "Tek-It", "Paranoïa" in 2010 and was involved in "the forge" and " the bubbles" nights parties.

He was introduced to Finefood records in 2011 by Ryan Hawkin and David Fjorgenson to be a member of the label Finefood Records.

His Music styles were so large and different by the moments that some performances were so dark for some people! So, he decided to create a new concept name for Dark Techno styles and headphones music lovers named "TATA!". TATA! was born in the spirit of the heavy dark techno lovers and he's so grateful with his bros to have contributed to find that concept!! TATA!Studio is now experimenting sounds, waves, kicks, loops, lives and sets with different artists. It was born the 1st september 2011 and is growing day after day.
