Biography of Toby FrithClassically trained to use a mouse and USB controller whilst still in his mother’s womb, Toby rejected all forms of music until the age of 21 out of consideration for his fellow man.
He took up DJing after being appalled by James Lavelle’s efforts one night in what would later become London’s wanker magnet Shoreditch.
Holding down important, genre-defining residencies at landmark clubs such as Barrow’s Legion, The Rat and Parrot in Uttoxeter, Sheryl’s in Ripon and most famously The Isoceles in Havant, Toby’s DJ style encompasses Tel-Star, the Now that’s what I call music compilations, streaming Youtube videos, playing other people’s mixes whilst checking his emails or playing Football Manager.
